Fun Build?

Fun Build?
Not too sure what thread to place this into but i'll try here. I've had some old parts lying around and got a B16A2 shortblock and a ITR head for them. I'm not too familiar with ITR parts, but this is just a fun little side project and trying to see the way to go for getting it on a bottle. Maybe a 75 wet shot? Just want to get some help on what minimum things to do to this engine to make it hold it's power and even gain some. Already getting new gaskets, etc, main concern or thoughts it, bore, or new internals. Not looking to got all out and not looking for big numbers, just something to have fun with yet still has juice, Thanks.

Assuming that one day you will want to spray more than a 75 shot (you know you will, everyone does lol) I would go ahead and forge the bottom end now.
ITR parts are basically the "high performance" of factory parts. Good, cheap, but have their limit.
Ever thought about CSS? (while your in there mentality speaking here)

Re: Fun Build?
I do like the idea of building up the shortblock UNLESS you have a stack of shortblocks and simply don't care if you blow one up.
I did that with a couple of ford 2.3s I got from guys swapping to 5.0s once, as I found myself with like 4 complete motors . . . stock clutch would blow at 75 shot, pistons tended to let go in the 175-200 range as the ring lands would break and start getting horrendous blow-by.
