Fully build b20v
I had a quick ? If anyone know I build a b20v from top to bottom all parts brand new and it’s going to be a fully build motor I got a chance to put oil on motor but haven’t crank it yet or got it starts been sittint for a few month , will it cause any issue by it just sitting or Waht Shoukd I do I bene so busy I haven’t had time to finish it motor had brand new bearing piston rods brand new crank and timing belt on and etc just need ecu and Injector . But I heard I can turn the crank pulley to turn the motor alittle but didn’t want to do that yet so please let me know if it’s safe to have it sitting or what can i do Thankx
If you have kept the engine bagged up, and you store it in a dry location... you should be fine. If you are concerned about some rust or damage to the bores, you can run a bore scope down into each hole and take a look... or rotate the crank pulley with a consistent pressure effort counterclockwise paying close attention to how smooth the engine rotates. You will need to remove the spark plugs to do this test so you don't build compression.

Ok I did that a few weeks ago but I did it with spark plugs on I turn the crank at first it’s was little hard but after one turn it turn smooth I turn it same way was timing belt would turn is that rite and should I turn it more with spark plug off and how many times should I turn it
Ummmm... Counter-Clockwise. From below the crank pulley bolt (under the car), that would be push toward the firewall. From above the crank pulley, you would pull toward the front bumper cover.
