Is Dan Benson still doing sleeves? Haven't been able to reach him by phone or email.

 

He is not, unfortunately.

I'd contact 4Piston, Ramey Racing, or Laskey.

Edit: I'm surprised Benson's website is still up. As far as I know he closed up shop ~5 years ago.

 

He sleeved a C30 block for me about 2 years ago and I was hoping to have him do another. But yeah I'd expect if he retired he would have taken the website down and shut off the phone number (which goes straight to voicemail with a full mailbox).

 

Turns out he is still in business. Just rather busy.

 

That's definitely news to me. There was a guy in the "For Sale" section here a few years ago making a big deal about how he was selling "the last" B18C block sleeved by Dan Benson.

It's also possible I'm getting Benson confused with Endyn... I don't know anymore :/

 

Yeah, that was the last Larry Widmer / Endyn block.
