The old LS/Vtec threw a rod today. Sad times.. took the head off and saw this in the combustion chamber. Valves look seated. B18c1 heads are getting rare these days.. is it salvageable?

Should not be an issue. Do a valve job, remove the burs form contact point and deck it. You couled also check if the head is not cracked.
If lot of material is removed then i would also check combustion volume to be equal on all cylinders.
