Default Breather kit install

I have a lsvtec with obd2 b18b1 block with b16a2 head. Wondering if i can tap into this circled spot for my breather kit install. Rather than tapping it from the back of the block. Is this the same thing?

You also need to run the timing belt cover. Another reason that is a poor location.
