I thought it was pretty funny. I know some of us are young and think that just because it isnt a rwd 240 that its just plain dumb, i want to let you know that its ok to laugh at it.

That one's even older than the drifting one!

There was this guy in a 240 trying to drift around a turn near my work when it was wet out, so I went out there and drifted the turn better than head did, while popping it offa rev limiter and then blow off in his ear! That **** was funny!

he is not a falken driver

that video is older than christ, and if you honestly think that is drifting you have never done or even seen the real thing.

ebraking a civic in the rain is nothing close to drifting.

give it up you ricers, your civic's cant drift.

well lets see i have seen real drifting and the only difference is smoke is coming off the back tires. how do you consider that not drifting? slide around a bend there you go. are you just pissed you cant do it on your ricer or what is it? and all foreign cars are ricers not just bodykits and neon lights.

Drifting is a term applied to when the rear wheels lose traction entirely and the front wheels guide the car sideways in the direction they point. When a civic "slides" you're just putting flat spots in the tires. Drifting involves overpowering one of the two sets of wheels to create a frictionless surface while the other constant set semi-controls the direction of car travel.

What Is Drifting?

Basically, drifting is getting your car sideways down a road. staight off a website so dont tell me that isnt drifting bud. so civics can drift. and how are you going to say that drifting does not involve pulling the ebrake cause anytime i watch drifting on tv they pull the ebrake. so i dont understand what yyour saying.

sigh... its not drifting, its powersliding. and the definition of drifting was mentioned above. yes the d1 drivers use the e-brake to help them lose the traction so they can intiate the drift. but there not draging their rear tires, they pull the e-brake then blip the throtle to spin the tires and then counter steer to control the cars movements. if you seriously think a civic can drift, ride in one doing that, then ride in a rwd car. you'll know the difference imediately.

EXACTALLY!

pulling the ebrake to get the rear end to oversteer is NOT DRIFTING! DRAGGING your rear wheels to slide is completley different than actually using horsepower to push the rear end faster than the front. see the key word in there? OVERPOWERING? <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by jdmcivicsi522 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">What Is Drifting?

using the ebrake to initiate is TOTALLY different than RELYING on it to oversteer (not drift, oversteer. big difference). hate to break it to you but i have just a little bit of first hand experience with drifting. so both of you dont give me your retarded e-definitions on drifting. your both misinterpreting the facts and twisting them into your own horribly wrong beliefs.

the only people who think civics can drift are CIVIC OWNERS. get over yourselves. your civic cant do it all.

You can sit here and whine about it all day, but that won't change the fact that you cannot drift your civic.

Kamin i checked out the link in your sig, very nice car.
