If that Sean guy can learn to drift and speak Japanese in what? 3 months? I'm sure street racing legend Dominic Toretto can do it in 3-4 years

Because pulling 140mph in a quarter mile while your floor board is falling out and jumping a Camaro on to a yacht is soo realistic.

The drifting thru traffic thing did sorta bug me but if you were actually doing it, might be easier to just slide then to lose speed by straighting your car out.

just saying :-p

dont know there is even an argument of which movie is more realistic. it's a god damn ACTION movie. it's not a drama that is going to win oscars for an excellent story, with beautiful directing, and superb genuine acting. i will say there were movies such as LOTR and Star Wars that won a lot of awards.

I was just making a point...

I have always enjoyed the F&F movies because they were entertaining, I liked Tokyo Drift because it was directed the best and had some pretty good driving scenes.

i love how 'car enthusiasts' get their panties in a bunch over these films. i love them because they are so cheasy and horrible that they become enjoyable.

I'll be honest with you, jumping a car into a yacht seems more realistic than weaving through cars with little to no traction. I just don't want to find out for myself what jumping into a yacht is like

The real question is how was "Dom" gonna drift that big *** muscle car in that tiny parking garage?

"he has over 100 grand in his honda 2000"

The import scene was around long enough to get it right. Should have not had RJ in charge of the lingo.

I agree with pretty much everyone else in here. I think the original was the best. It might simply be due to nostalgia, but it's the most memorable one for me.

I remember open call for cars to be in the 'race wars' scene at the Ontario airport.

there are a good amount of 32 and 33's. I've seen a few 34's. there is a shop in southern california called autobahn autobody that had 3 34's in their shop while my car was being repaired there after i was rear ended on the freeway. their shop also had a red ferrari f40 that spun out into a tree. they also had a carrera GT that looked like someone had spun out and destroyed a corner of the car. various bentleys, porshes, a rolls royce, etc.

Toretto lives his life a 1/4 mile at a time ... no need to learn to drift.

Did you watch the prelude? I was talking about the beat to **** one he picks up at the used car lot for next to nothing.

You'll have a hard time getting one in "legally" now, since you can only import R33s made after January 1996 and before June 30, 1998. JK Technologies out of Baltimore is the only company that knows how to do the conversion, they did the original testing for Motorex.
