Im waiting on steph to post on honda-tech...not a representative speaking third-person for him. I don't care if he drifts, ski dive, bungy jump, or race boats. Its sad when VW, mopar, and toyota guys post on here and not one of the top dawg honda guys.

I just wanted to let everyone know I’ll be out at Las Vegas this Friday the 18th for the Hankook Drift Night at the Speedway. I’ve had a little trouble with crashing this year so you might see some wall action—kidding (I hope). I just finished my 240 a couple weeks ago, and some of you that know me from back in the day will remember when this car was burgundy and I drove it everyday. I posted a pic, let me know what you think.
I’m planning on racing at Formula D in Sonoma next month too, and I hope to see everyone out there!

Stephs a cool guy , props for trying anything. I go drag racing, road racing, nascar. I love speed in general and don't care if it's import, domestic, road car, or a freaking monster truck ralley, if you like going fast appriciate everything about motorsports. No point knocking something because it's not your cup of tea.
I've actaully been considering building a play toy lately and possibly drifting it. I don't see it as much as a sport of drag racing, however from behind the drivers seet it definately looks like it can be a lot of fun and help improve driving skills / car control in general

I like what steph is doin. He's not being one-dimentional meaning just doing drag racing, he's doing things other than drag racing which I think is pretty cool. Being exposed to every race sport out there means he is a true racer.
I am not sure who had the car last he sold it while back, but found out it was just sitting around because the tranny went out or the motor blew or something so he bought it back. Right around the drift stuff started going on.

I've seen steph murder a bunch of cones at SEMA IAS one time, hahahahaha he was driving some mazda 626s and he plowed right through the cones, haha
Those cars had no throttle response
Drifting can be cool to watch if they really know how to do it, but i think its lame to watch people drifting after the apex

Rtype16...I am not going to complain about Steph drifting, but I will complain that he doesnt post here on honda-tech.com. It's cool to have a bunch of true racers and crew members here. Im sorry to see that Steph has not joined in with all the fun.

THAT MUST OF BEEN A DREAM BECAUSE I THINK IM STUCK IN THE SHITTY WORLD OF DRIFTING. IS IT ME OR DOES DRIFTING HAVE ABSO-******-LUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH DRAG RACING. OR BETTER YET HONDA-TECH.
THAT CRAP BELONGS ON DRIFTING.COM THATS WHY ITS THERE NOT ON HONDA-TECH.COM

I really don't think it matters if Steph post here or not. It would be nice if he did...but why should it matter? Just because some drivers don’t post as others do, does not mean they don’t care. If everyone support the scene by attending events, than they would be able to meet and talk with the drivers at the track. This is not pointed towards anyone, just a general comments on my thoughts about Pro drivers posting.
For those Pro drivers that do post, I appreciate you inputs and thoughts for keeping the rest of us up to date.

Everybody is building a drift car. It`s just another way to promote their sponsors since the drag market is shrinking so rapidly. When you have 10-15k attendees, you can`t go wrong. I get asked if we are going to build a drift vehicle, but it`s practically reverse engineering what we do here

hahahaha.... I like that post vtecvoodoo. Hey can you build me a suspension that will cause the car to slide through all the turns rather than planting it to the ground...
I'm going to try and find pictures of the whole build up.

Now I have and account.
I want everyone to know that I will be Drag racing for a long time and the drift thing is something fun on the side. Since it is mostly So. Cal. based it is easy for me to make the local events.
I already want to build a new drift car. Maybe a s2000. No one has made one of those cars drift work well and that would be a cool challange.
