I went to a huge parking lot last night in my explorer and romped through some of the huge snow mounds the front end loaders made. Had two cops roll up, good cop bad cop scenario.
Cop 1: "Son im going to write you a ticket for wreckless driv....."
Cop 2 steps in: "Leave the damn kid alone whats he gonna hit except snow."
Cop 2 slides his cruiser on the way out.
Nice cops rock

Technically, you'd be presumed to be in violation of a statewide law requiring you to have your vehicle "under control" at all times, and that pretty much eliminates the kind of sliding we see in the video.
If your friend got a reckless ticket for doing exactly what we saw in the video clip, then something's wrong. I have a feeling something else must've been doing on at the same time...people in the parking lot, cars parked there...something.
The guys in the white Civic are lucky they ran across a couple of guys with a sense of humour. They knew they could out-drift you in their RWD Vickies.

I was out showing Chip (the stepson) how to drift in the truck. Some old lady with no sense of humor chased us with a snow shovel. She looked mad enough to swing it at us. Chip thought it was cool. Laura, who was a reluctant participant, did not.
I like how you guys are saying they are cool...no they are not, fairfax cops are probably the biggest ******** in the united states. Thats what makes this so ironic.

You get some good and some bad. My landlord is a FFX Co Cop, and I know for a fact she was out doing doughnuts in the cruiser Sat night.
Since there's bad though, I did my doughnuts in the private lot of my job where they legally can't do anything to me.
