First time ever going to a drift event. It was pretty fun. Cool people, sweet cars, but crappy weather. Decided to leave a bit early because of the rain, but it was still a good time. Anyone else go?

Weather was crappy so didnt even bother. That sweet they still had the event though. Been the last few years, same cars, same track, s2000 does crappy everytime lol. Thats crazy they have a scion drift car now WTF?

 

Its Ken Gushi's new car. If I remember correctly, its powered by the Turbo MR2 motor. The car was having a few problems though. They announced over the PA that he had transmission issues and that he lost neutral somehow.

 

Interesting, he was a traitor and driving a mustang last year i believe.. I miss his old green 240 haha

 

I was there for the third year in a row.

Anyone else go?

What motor is in the Yaris? Is it boosted?

 

From what I read on the mospeed site -
The motor is still N/A with a few custom modifications (header, intake, exhaust)
