That makes no sense.
I have seen plenty of JDM girls who are ugly with no ****. I have also seen plenty of corn-fed white boy Americans attempting to drift.

is drifting really that bad? why cant you do it all? like signal for example, they drift, time attack and drag. i like d1 drift events but all others are kinda boring and stupid.

No, it's not that bad. People are just saying it's not the fastest way around a turn. All those people do it because they think it looks cool. I think it looks cool too. ::shrugs::

The fact that you sold the car shows you still have some learning to do.

Eh, I bought a 240sx, I don't think drifting is gay, I don't know if I consider it racing though. Its more about um, technique and style. . .kinda like figure skating. wait. . .okay, bad example, kinda like aerobatics, but aerobatics is way cooler and I prefer that over a stupid car. . . *drool for an Extra 300*

Guys, dont hate on drifting because you lack the skill, torque, and RWD. All of you, dont get me wrong. Its just that you dont have the ideal car for the sport and thus cannot enjoy it. But thats no reason to rip on it.
Giger, let me know if u need any good quotes.

you say i lack torque? you're driving a damned s2000.
i don't think a olds 455 cid V8 has ever had issues with torque.
and, its still not a sport like real forms of racing, maybe a spectator sport.

So you are saying you would reather have a olds 455 turbo over a nice clean turbo s2k? wow, what would you do with an olds455 turbo? Drive in a straight line all day and fill up.
No it was a great car I just really think drifting is stupid as a so called sport. Its the rice of the motorsport world. I actually went through two 240's one stock and then I bought one with a SR20DET already installed. 240's are great cars.
i don't think any of ya'll have ever driven a 68 Olds 442 W-30 with hurst package. black with red interior. one of the sweetest cars. drank gas like none other. but it was fast. i would beat on new SS's and cobra's all day long with that car. positrac helped quite a bit. i couldn't even imagine how it would be turbocharged. but, the sound of the secondaries opening up is much cooler sounding than vtec.
i really like the S2k. again, a turbocharged S2k still has no torque. my mercedes 190DT had tons more torque than your car(or any honda). and, it was turbocharged. 5speed manual and limited slip. car was so well planted, it was almost impossible to get the rear-end out. which is what you really want if you are going to drive through the turns fast.
i just love how people who have probably never driven a car, can bash on it. if you're a car person...you'll give something respect.
but to come in here and make a assumption that no one has driven a car with torque, rwd, etc...is wrong. there are guys here with cobras, Z's, vettes, supras, etc...that know what torque and rwd is. and no how to hang out the rear-end. we just choose not too because we don't want to be screwing around on a track or on a canyon run. we choose the fastest and most efficient way through a turn.
hanging out the tail is very fun though, but its not driving.
and, i'm done with this bullshit.

I'm glad that u can admit that drifting is fun. I was just kidding with all the other bullshit, I just love to use that monkey a lot. I got respect for fast cars. But my point is( maybe I should have stated this earlier) that drifting is a world wide phenomenon and not stupid or "the rice of the motorsport world." If you dont like it and can't help giser with some good, positive quotes, get of the thread and start a new one so I can officially prove you wrong.
