and on the drifting front...

Steph Papadakis recieved his D1 liscense today in the AEM S2k. After blowing his Diff on the last run in qualifying, him and Shawn Hilliar changed out the diff and got it back on the track just an hour later for the Drivers Search, in which he was one of only 6 drivers (out of 32) to recieve a D1 liscense.

Congrats to Steph, good luck on the rest of the weekend

I think it would be a insult if he didn't get the license. Think of all the sponsorship and advertisement money that's going to start rolling in once he officially gets into the scene?

When I was 17 I had an 88 Ford Tempo, and the state of California gave me a drifting license.

isn't there a sport with tractors drag racing?

oh wait, they attatch weights to them, and it's not really timed.

hmmm... attatching weights to cars... kinda reminds me of the several threads discussing the rules for next year
