This was my first time to ever shoot drifting. I think they turned out pretty good for the first try.

youse from carson aye? good stuff hah! i grew up there.
settings will depend on how fast and what direction the cars are going to be travelling. set your camera into shutter priority and work your way around 1/60th of a second + or - a few clicks. watch your metering as well. exposures can get thrown around quite easily

Nice shutter speeds.
Not that its any of your business but why don't these people have helmets on esp. if they are tandeming? Even when they have parking lot drift events they have to wear helmets.

I go to school at Dominguez Hills but I live in Huntington Beach

I was thinking the same thing. This event was very un-organized which is most likely why. **** the guy in the last picture only had one bolt holding his seat down. I guess this is how Texas does drifting (yee haww)
