WORLDS FASTEST.!??
Ok people are claiming worlds fastest. Who is and has the fastest title.? Erick claims to have the fastest honda and so does Bisi. Erick runs NOPI, BISI runs IDRC. Lesli runs NHRA and is most likey the heaviest. NHRA runs are 1675lbs for all motor class. NHRA looks like the stricted but safest and most knowleagable. **** they freaking created drag racing.!!! well Wally parks did but he is MR. NHRA. Now back to the subject, what would erick and bisi run at 1675lbs? Lesli Durst ran 10.30 at dallas NHRA and her fastest time meeting the weight requirement for NHRA. im sure if she took out 400 lbs she would break in the 9s too.Who get the title of worlds fastest.?

we know Bisi and erick have this fastest and quickest but under whos rules. Some people choose not to run certain events. If some people took out 400lbs they would run 9s too.. but is that safe? i dont know about 90 to 10 weight ratio. it should be 70:30 but im sure a few cars out there arent.

what are you talking about, taking out 400lbs??? Erick is nearly at 1600lbs, i believe hes at about 1550lbs... so if Leslie weighs 1675lbs and takes out 400lbs that would leave her with 1275lbs which is illegal, so basically you don't make sense...

i dont think that was a "solid" number he was throwin out. just trying to get an idea of "who ran _____ e.t. and ____mph @ _____ weight. so how can anyone claim "world's fastest" if they are at differant weights running in differant sactioning body's?
i agree with the "NHRA, should be the "industry standard" as far as "ruling" goes.

Thats why there needs to be an ALLMOTOR shoot out...everyone agree on minimum weight and run and see who is the fastest. Im tired of folks claiming to be the fastest this and that...."im the fastest honda, acura, h22, b16, b18, ls/vtec...yada yada yada, etc, etc., etc. Rules i.e, weight, should be standard across the sanctioning bodies. So atleast you can build a car/motor to run all events so that all the fans can see you. Line 'em up and lets see whose the fastest.
To be quite honest with all of you, I claim to be the fastest, and quickest All Motor Unibody: with not even an inch cut out of my car. In a world of back halfed, and full chassis all motor cars, I have retained my stock hatch and even windshield.
If certain sacntioning bodies desire to view me as the world's fastest, it is in their right. As for running/choosing certain sanctions (IDRC vs. IDRA vs NOPI vs NHRA), some of us do not have the budget to run a slew of east cost events, especially without significant sponsorship. It is sad that many sanctions hold events on the east, opposed to the west: where many of us reside. Its also up to them to determine what weights they deem appropriate. Less weight usually translates to less breakage.
In my opinion, running 10.12s-10.31s at 1612ibs on gasoline is not really bad. You will be suprised on how little weight affects a "torquey" powerplant.

I know ther are alot of other topics here... but just for the Record... L'Natural has the Fastest Pass made in a sanctioned event... 134.16mph at BOTI in Bakersfield... 1625lbs...

I would say that Nopi actually has the best all-motor rules. The bigger your motor, the more weight you carry. That makes for a level playing field. I've heard rumors that the NHRA will adopt something similar next year, but its just rumors.
In terms of who's got what - in drag racing there is only one thing that counts - who gets to the end of the track first. Period.

Just a thought. How come everybody just goes to where the quickest is(NDRA Ericks Racing) and try to take it from him. Without all this "if this person takes off this much weight, they would be the fastest", etc. Just do it. Is it that hard to take off 25-50 pounds? Wouldnt that end all this debating about who's the fastest??
50lbs from the back or your car might determind the 10.00 to 9.99 but that might also determind you gettting down the track safely as apose to losing control and crashing.

read i didnt say NHRA is the only SAFEST SACTIONING body. I just like the NHRA rules even though its a lil stricter than the other sactioning body. Weight is part of a saftey issue and sometime when your too light things go wrong. I think everyone agrees that NHRA has the stircted rules but its for our SAFETY as a racers not theres.
Did you read what I said? Why complain about your car not being set up for anything besides NHRA? Dont get mad just curious to see why all this debating is even going on just go do it!! BTW isnt Bisi unibody and a lot lighter then 1650-75, Last time I saw him go down the 1320 he was straight and SAFE.
oh yeah i been seeing bisi run his car since he was running 13-14s. back in the days. His car runs straight as an arrow. The rules are there and i just follow them.(even though they might not met my standards) But it sucks cus certain people run certain events and they all have different weights. Alot of people claim alot of things.I wanna know people opinions on who is really the FASTEST

but, camp1320 is right nhra is more strict when it comes down to it. my car would pass other bodies, but won't @ nhra. but have no complaints safety is priority.

Thats the thing you will never get a straight answer. The cold hard facts are what people have done in whichever events that they participate in. I dont think that there is much to argue about. I also like NHRA but rules always change and people race where they are happy.
