I just did it on my hatch/gsr and had it sit at home for 3.5 days and when I put it in, after 2 miles the stuff, that was not totally dry inside, came out.
Now I did it again and will wait a week now.

***First off, i'm the rotascircuit guy. I posted up this one site,in the descussion forum, to see whats it all about and they all got FISETY and banned me till march. I still have no clue why they would do that.***

back to topic!! I installed my mount with the polyurthane black and yellow stuff from home depo. This time I had it dry for a week and now it seems fine. The car just vibrates a bit now

I used the roof and flashing on my tranny it drys very soft it feels like its just rubber.......on my torque mounts i used premium construction it dries fast but feels different textured like hard weird plastic lol and its white kinda......and on my other mounts i used some dow stuff my friend had and thats the best it dries hard and feels real solid.....i would recomend dow if you can find it or like everyone says 3m window weld...the other stuff i wouldnt recomend if you want something solid just my thoughts on it

why not just weld a plate on both sides to cover it up,drill a hole for the bolt.nothing wont be as solid as this.

I used DAP Polyurethane Window and Door on my drivers side mount. (1994 Integra)

http://www.dap.com/product_details.a...=28&SubcatID=6

I couldn't be happier, the car launches so much better now. I love the new feel, no change in engine vibration. My driver's mount had cracks in the rubber legs. I didn't even have to remove the mount. I just removed the tire to gain access. Cleaned the mount with Brake Clean, and filed it almost solid.

So I used the PL door and window sealant...it's NOT the correct one. Came out white and dried to a soft texture, very similar to the OEM rubber inside the mounts.

Went back and got the PL construction adhesive...this worked out much better. It's a tan color and dries very firm. I did 2 torque mounts, will post a review after they completely dry

How do you keep the center insert in place? Or do you just fill the caulk in around the existing material? I'm about to do it tomorrow with a buddy of mine.
