Sorry guys, I should have posted this morning when Wil contacted me, but I was on the road home (5 hr drive) and I'm extremely ill. (Woke up coughing up blood last night, yay me!). I didn't make it 5 minutes in my house and I was out like a light bulb and just woke up (and I haven't seen my son in almost 2 weeks).

Anyway, Wil did contact me and and said the front had shipped out and I should be receiving it in a few days. Honestly this was more of an attempt at getting him to contact me and much like last time, it worked.

I will keep you guys posted and let you know when it arrives. I'm sure the fitment and quality will be good, as every kit I've seen so far has been. I was just at the point where IDK WTF to do and as much as I didn't want to do it I knew posting on here is the best way to get a response. It shouldn't have to be that way.

Anyways, hopeefully I'm in better health by the time they show so we can get to doing some work on my car! I wanna go fast!

 

That would be his second mistake. Strada is worse. Not only do you wait just as long, but the product is junk!!!!! Franks custom fiberglass is still in business. they make killer products that actually fit. if you don't like there kit ask him to tweak it. he will and he will get it right.

 

Correct it didnt exist. But in my email it said Very CLEAR closed front bumper!! And Will said OK.
So he took a order he knew he couldnt do, but didnt tell me until i got the bumper and complained and all i got was a Oh well!!! I know what i ordered and said.

Same happened with my wheels a 2 week order took 4 months.

 

Wil did contact to me yesterday too, told me he ship skinnies today..

Not only do we not have the support we use to have in the early 2k, but you have companies doing this to people and making the good company's suffer because of their actions. Solution is simple! If you dont have the part "DONT SELL IT"!!!! He makes very good products but customer service should be #1 in a company's book! Good luck OP and dont let this expirience discourage you from supporting other company's and our sport

 

Correct. lies, bs and extended wait times are the name of the game,
Which sux. if you go into it expecting the worst with waiting, then you will be fine. 3 days = 1+ month

 

Guys i know wil very well for a long time, and promise he will get your products, he is in the mercy of the fiberglass fabricators as they give him the runaround as well.

I ordered a full set of wheels for Wil last June. The only thing I got from him was $400 and he said that's all he had at the time. I have sent him tons of emails and all I get is the run around. Thanks to James@ipg I got a set of welds just so I can race the car. It's been over 3 months since Wil responed to me. Thanks Wil for dicking me over.

 

I didn't mean for this to be a Wil or Exospeed or Strada bashing thread, I just wanted Wil to contact me, and he did. I understand peoples' frustrations completely and definitely sympathize with you guys, but I dont think everyone airing their dirty laundry here is going to get their specific cases solved. My best advice is to try to keep contacting him. When I do get hold of him, he's civil to talk to and seems to want to work things out.

Again, my products are en route and I will let you all know when they arrive.

Thanks for the sympathy everyone, and to be honest... I didn't want to go with the Strada, not because of the wait times, but because I just don't think their fronts look as good. But that's personal preference.

 

What about the people he still owes money to for lensos, some from years ago? If you know him very well, trust him, and know he will refund all the money.. would you refund these people their money till Wil repays you?

I like how people can vouch for someone who has ripped off people for years and completely avoid talking about it.

 

When a company don't take credit cars so you can do a charge back, should tell you alot about a company. You have no recourse. You are at his mercy if u pay by check, bank transfer or money order.

 

Are you sure products are on the way? do you get the tracking #?

Which front end are you going with?

I can't be 100% for certain they're on the way. And no, he has not given me a tracking number, but I feel after putting him on blast a couple times now and talking to him in person he's going to come thru, at least I'd hope.

And I am going with the open EK front, my friend, the open CRX Front. Neither are widened, as we wont be running that big of tire. And as I said, looks are always a personal preference - plus I already know a wood guy (the other half of our shop is a cabinet maker's shop). If I wanted a front end made from wood, I would've just asked him

That and I've seen several Exo fronts in person and the quality and fitment I've been pleased with. There's no doubt it is a GREAT product, its just the wait that sucks. So here's to hoping he comes through and these fronts arrive. We've got 2 cars on stands waiting for them so we can finish buttoning them up for the season

to hell with that guy he screwed meover for some rims a few years ago... after waiting six months it took ANOTHER five months to get some sorta refund for them. Garbage... goes in the books with Mishimoto and Synapse. People cry about the sport dying and this is the reason why. I am almost to the end of the rope dealing with these idiots and continuos excuses.

A SBC will do fine any day and JEGs and SUMMIT don't play these games. Time to turn a cheek on these fools wasting our time cause they can't run a business. Chevy I am coming back.

 

The front ends we ordered did show today. I haven't seen them yet in person, because I had to head out of state for work, but my friend who's business they were shipped to said they showed up without any damage so that's a good sign. Wil has been in contact with me since I started this thread, so I'm happy we got our front ends. Albeit, later than we thought we would, at least now we can get to fitting them to the cars and mocking up other stuff so we can hit the track soon with them.

Mods I guess since my problem is resolved you can do what you need to do. Thank you everyone for your concern and those who helped me resolve the issue. Thank you Wil for coming through. I cannot wait to get home and get this on my car (on top of the million other things I have to do since I am in the process of buying a house).
