The wider the contact patch the more you will bite, the taller the tire the faster you will be @ the other end, but the ? is, the taller the tire do you have HP to pull it @ the other end. This is something to think about, lets say @ the Good Guy's meets, the top fuel's how they run they gear up HP @ the end not @ the start, less spin on the tires but they can pull it @ the other end.
