a wideband o2 is a good way to see what your actual air/fuel ratio is while tuning.
these sensors cost more and are much more acurrate than the stock piece.

yep... only thing I will add to maybe help make it more clear is...
stock o2 sensors work on a 0V to 1V scale, the wideband works on a 0v to 5v scale much more acurate, and you need a special controler to run it, wont just plug into your stock harness, it has it's own black box that runs, and reads it...
