can someone explain what the 02 wideband is used for, difference? at the dyno.

a wideband o2 is a good way to see what your actual air/fuel ratio is while tuning.
these sensors cost more and are much more acurrate than the stock piece.

they basically tell you if the car needs more or less fuel.

yep... only thing I will add to maybe help make it more clear is...

stock o2 sensors work on a 0V to 1V scale, the wideband works on a 0v to 5v scale much more acurate, and you need a special controler to run it, wont just plug into your stock harness, it has it's own black box that runs, and reads it...
