who's front end to use?
I would like to know what one piece front end that Mike Laskey is using on his Drag Crx or the one on the HPRacing Honda. I like the way it wraps the wheels and it flares out around the wheels only instead of just making the fenders bowed out.
I am not sure if it is the MMR piece or a Frank's Fiberglass piece or custom any help would be great.

The Laskey front end is an original RPM Carbon front end... The ProDrag front is deisgned off of an RPM, but it is for 92-95 civics.
What kind of car do you have? Your sig says Prelude... in that case, you will have an even harder time finding one.. On my CRX, i couldn't find one i liked, so i'm making my own from scratch

no it's not for my Prelude, these are for some customers of mine I've used the one from MMR before and really dont want to use that one again (didn't like the way the sides (fenders) bowed out it's like they are spring loaded when you release the zeus(sp) fastners near the doors. Can someone tell me more about these ones from RPM ( I remember them at SEMA one year they Kenny Tran had one on his Civic) or a close copy of one or this other company PDR.

The PDR front is identical to the RPM front. It's build quality is very nice and it is rigid. If you'd like more information feel free to call the shop and ask to speak to Brian or Juan.

This is Mike from Laskey racing. Like was stated up above, our front end was the original RPM carbon front end. I think they only made about 3 of these before they went out of bussiness...
I read so much talk about front ends and ive stayed quiet but I have jump in on this one. I have seen nearly every front end there is to offer and all i want to say is look closley at what you buy. There are a few front ends out there that look real great on the car but pick them up and they weigh like 50 lbs. There is more to a front end than appearance, look how it is made, what it is made of, what size slicks you can run and what offset you need to make it work, how easy is it to get fixed if you need a repair, can the shop mount if it you need it done or does it come with a universal mount kit. Just a friendly reminder that a lot goes into making a front end they are more than just looks.

I can vouch for that after seeing what goes into the design and install of a quality front. A good front shouldnt really weigh more than 10lbs IMHO and should come off and snap in smoothly. if it doesnt, take your business else where

Agreed. Thats one of the main reasons that i'm building my own.... that, and no one else makes a good front for my car (IMO). haha!
