The standard most people follow is 65" behind the back of the car, so depending on where your mounting point is it could be 70" or 68" etc.
However, since most people don't have any rules to follow you could probably get pretty crazy now.

ok thx guys i am just starting on my car for next seson and want to lower my 60" my best 60" is like 1,9 on M/H 24,5" slicks thats crap hahah hope i am going to have the fastest fwd car in iceland next year :D
ICELAND!!!!! dame i didnt know u guys had a drag strip. i was their a few years ago visiting my bro. the only fun thing i did was take his piece of sh*t lancer rallying through the mountains. thats all i thought u guys had. he was in the navy thier.
also took some karts for a ride.
it was a crazy leaving a bar at 3am & the sun being out.
did notice the fish hanging around, lol

Make sure you make the thing adjustable and not just solid at one height. No one sets them up for a specific height because they have to be adjusted every pass. All the rules stated was that when you rolled up to the line, the wheel had to be able to spin.
Also, I recommend against one that can be unpinned and lifted for going through the pits. This is how I had mine setup and there was too much give and movement. I welded that solid and added one extra brace and that improved short times dramatically!!!!
65" from rear bumper, and make them solid. Run a light spring in back, like an 80lb and make sure your strut will hold it down on its own once it is compressed.

but not many pepole are using them hehe the fastest import car here is only 10 sec car :D hehe and the best dragster time was 6,99 so we are meybe 20 years behind americans :D F****** island :D
