what size rod?
is everyone using stock size rods or longer ones? how do you go about choosing what size rod to go with? i heard longer rod will help top end, but how do you know what size to go with without running into problems? looking for some for a h22 turbo.
Rods are a specific length and width for each engine. The only way to use a longer rod is to add a deckplate or use a crank with a shorter stroke, or modify the piston.
I think what you are looking for are just aftermarket H22 rods. Check Crower, Eagle, Pauter,Cunningham, etc. to see who makes a rod that fits your budget and your engine.

yeah, ok
we used a shelf piston and stock rod and made 689whp at only 26psi. if you hurt a rod do you really want to wait months to get your car back up and running?? run shelf parts and make the power with more boost!!
