Default What should i expect?

I've got a '97 Civic HX Coupe that i'm taking to the track on friday and i was wondering what i should expect to run

(D16Y5)
-Intake
-Cat-back
-fuel PSI Reg.
-Holley Fuel Pump
-Centerforce DFX Clutch
-Short Shifter
-Yokohama ES100 195/60 tires

normally i'd say you might run 16's.....but since you have a short shifter, you'll probably see 17.0 or 17.1.

Focus on trying to break into 16s. If you cant, then get a jdm air freshner, worked for me.

jinx what are u talkin' about 16's if i didn't have a short shifter and 17's since i do?

The guys are messin with you. Becaust you don't have 10K into your car they think your an idiot. You have two mods that are probably hurting your performence right now. The fuel pump and the regulator should be switched back to stock (unless for some reason you spent about $200.00 to get them dyno tuned). Don't worry about what you run in the quarter mile. work on launching your car. Try to get you 60 foot down. Good luck!

Or because everyone is sick of seeing threads guessing on what people's cars should run. Go drive your car and stop being a lame-*** e-racer.

thanks pilot i'm just getting started w/ the car and there aren't that many people running Single cams and i was just tryin to see what i should expect to make sure i'm not slakin on my drivin and o yeah i actually "drive" my car too unlike some people

yet ppl are too stupid to actually search and find out what others are running because theres tons of SOHC threads in the archives.

wow u actually drive ur car?? thats unbelievable, that thing is not even streetable with its D16Y5. ur the man, drivin a track only car on the street, truely unbelievable.

it is when there is 3425435465764 threads on what my car will run?? sometimes i wonder what would happen if honda-tech wasnt here. where would people go for answers on what their car runs?? i guess it would have to be clubsi.com.
