what diff is this? never seen it before. pic:
this is a gsr trans i got from HMO 3-4 years ago, pulled it apart b/c the input shaft bearing is gone, and the guys at the dyno shop told him the diff was noisey. took it apart and didnt see anything wrong with the diff.
put it back together and the threads are right hand, and there are 14 bolts. 8mm not 10mm.
ANY info appreciated.

thanks mike, i have just never seen one like that before. none of my sercive manuals show that one.

Yeah, they are pretty weird. The first time I saw one was in a customer transmission. I opened it up to put a ring and pinion in and was like...well, this is not going to work. They only come from Japan from what I know which is why they would not be in your service manual.
