Default War of the Imports

Speedworld Orlando, FL Dec 9th.

Does anyone have any info on this event? Website, rules, anything? Speedworlds website doesn't have ****!

Our drag car is slated to be in the PRI show and we want to get some racing on while we are in sunny Florida before the car has to go back to cold *** Chicago and sit dormant for 3-4 more months.

Eric

Its a local event held by the track. Nothing really special. I dont think there's a huge payout either but I could be wrong. Havent been to one in a few years and im 5 minutes from the track

I just need class rules, hours, pricing, etc. We're not looking to run for money or in any particular class. We just want to get the car out the to make some passes and let the people in the Orlando area get the chance to see the car in person. Its never been to Florida before.

Don't worry you fit in some class
there isnt any strict enforcement other then basic NHRA safety stuff......Alot of it is bracket racing

Index racing at its best
its a good event from past events

you'll be going up against some very fast local EVO/DSM's here
if its street class type

if not you'll be facing alot of RWD 8/7 second cars

price to race is like 25-40 dollers forget exactly been a few years since I attended one

between 15-20 to spectate

need more info call
407) 568-2717 (speed world office)

OSW has come a long way lately. They have been prepping the track good and they have almost completely re modeled the place.

yeah just a local type race -- you will probably see 2 heads up classes -- a quick 16 and then the next 16 in another heads up class and the rest of the racers will be running bracket, or something to that effect, there will for sure be somewhere for you to fall into and race heads up

since you guys are in town definately will give you something to do before you head back to the cold

I have the flyer. War of the imports will be on Sunday, December 9th. Gates open at 9am. qualifying starts at 10am and eliminations at 1pm. like last year there will be a quik 16 and other classes. LAst years event was really good. 1000times better then The boti event they have there. also with all the track renovation, osw is a really good track to race on now

you guys competitively race that car? I thought it was just to set ET records for Evom.net?

On a real note...did you guys find an ex-FSAE student to work for you guys?

We do sometimes. We dont mess with NHRA/NOPI too much, mainly cause you have to run nitrous to keep up which kind of destroys the credtibility of what we are trying to do with making the car go as fast as possible. Now if they came up with a rule that stated you could run a bigger turbo instead of nitrous it would be a different story.

As far as the FSAE guy, I'm not sure what your talking about exactly but no I don't believe so.
