you can't utilize the lsd in that tranny without changing final drive to 4.40 which i recommend anyway. the stock 4.26 isn't gonna bolt to that diff. if you got a gsr/itr ring gear along with countershaft, then you could run that lsd.

yea, I've learned quite a bit in the last two days. Thank you for your reply though......no more Type-R LSD. Going to go with a Quaife instead.
