I wanted to know what you big boys are running for trans setup. I have gone throw two transes in the last three months. the first trans i destroyed was my kinda of my fault, was in a hurry to stage and did not preloud the clutch their for blowing up my diff. the second one i'm not sure how i did it. i launched and got wheel hope and about 20ft past the tree my shift linkage dropped it broke right where the shift linkage stabilizer bolts to the trans it completely broke of. if you could tell me your setup or give me suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.
I've never seen a trans. break where yours did ( where the shift linkage stabilizer bolts to the trans)
Do you have aftermarket mounts? Cause you need them.
We use a STOCK trans with a good diff (
). Either a B16 or a GSR.

it is in a eg hatch the two mounts in the front are stock and the alignment is ok. and it is stock suspension. i was planing on putting H&Rs with some KYB AJX next but this happened so need to find another trans or case.
those stock motor mounts helped cause you to break.
there is def. to much motor movment. hasports are the ****, you should look into getting a set.
