Trailers ???????
18 foot open trailer, electric brakes, cost $1800 2 years ago.
If I were to do it agein, I'd go with rear mounted ramps rather then side
mounted, sometimes there's just not room to get the ramps out. Also
try to get one with the lowist deck you can find, maybe even a ducktail.
It's a PITA to have to use wood to raise the ramps so the car woun't bottom
out...

just make damn sure when you buy an enclosed tag trailer you buy one with 16" wheels....they handle so much better. Our tag has 16" wheels and it handles like my 40' gooseneck did.....

Actually, our pace is a piece of ****. Little stuff was falling apart just after we got it. It's definitely not the best quality, but you get what you pay for. It worked for us, but i'm sure it'll be much nicer this year in our big rig!
Our haulmark is falling apart...its a 2002 and the roof is caving in, diamond plate falling off, outer wall screws coming out...Tony you can start towing my car, I will just fly with you to the races, think Kenny would mind
same here tony

yeah but i guess thats the kinda thing were u dont want to cheap skate around with i mean if u just built a race car u dont want a trailer accident to ruin that. thats how i think at least

The one like steph has is sweet for a tag triler.. i am not sure what brand it is but his very nice.. compared to most that we see pulling race cars.
we have a 28 ft Tag fully loaded with lights cabinets and all things nice for $9999 here in Dallas, now that we have a second car coming sometime, we are gonna start looking for a much bigger trailer and new truck mid summer
Have you guys seen what Osofast and Venom are haulin' their cars with? Those things are like Semi's
skunk2 has a very nice one, a renegade FL110

Steph's trailer last year was a Gold Rush gooseneck. VERY nice. Also very expensive. The left rear corner of the trailer got peeled back by an 18-wheeler going 55 MPH while Steph was on the side of the road changing a flat. Peeled back the top part of the left panel. At first, it looked like you could bend the sheet metal back by hand..... wrong.
That thing is tough! A big dead blow hammer wouldn't even budge the bent sheet metal. That Gold Rush is definitely a nice trailer.

what do you guys think about a 12' or 16' tilt bed trailer(single axle)? Is it as bad as towing with a car dolly? I've seen some that say not to exceed 55mph, why is that so?
The reason is that my rex is not that long and heavy, so I figured, I can save money and go for a 12 footer tilt bed trailer(GVW 3,500lbs)

ahhaha haulmark makes piece of **** trailors. They had a home style a/c mounted on the outside of the trailor, the diamond plating is falling off, bolts are coming lose, cabinets dont shut right, etc...
