have a 00si with competition engin. traction bars....i have 17 inch wheels and if i turn wheel all the way...i hit traction bars against my wheel...if i get a smaller wheel say 15, or 16inch will this solve the problem?...thanks for any help

 

They are not made for 17" wheel use, contact the manufacturer for proper use.

 

I'm pretty sure competion engineering also makes special steering bump stops, to prevent that from happening. Try checking their website.

 

With the geometry that the Comp Eng bars have, your tires are bound to hit them. It's because the front crossmember mounting point is not inline with the LCA mounting point; instead, it's farther outward, putting them closer to the wheels/tires.
