ive got some 13" lensos but dont have any tires yet, a friend of mine has offerd me some 225/600/13" track day avon slicks he will give me.
would these do me till i can get the money together for some mt's or would i be better staying with my bfg drag radials

 

those will be horrible for drag racing. those are auto-x tires, stiff sidewall

 

yeah they are, but i was thinking more rubber on the ground. so they would be no better than the bfg's ?

 

yeah more rubber but with that stiff of a sidewall they will wheel hop and remember more rubber with wheel hop means more stress and more likely to break. i wouldnt take the chance personally. those free tires could end up costing alot more than a set of slicks!

 

You would be better with your drag radials.
