The only thing with these cars are that they are all rwd. Rwd cars tend to run a bit slower in the 1/4 than fwd cars with similar setups.</TD></TR></TABLE>
true, but all rwd does it help the cars launch better. most fwd cars i seen with average drivers only muster 2.1-2.3's, while similar rwd cars will do 1.9's. you gotta beable to drive the car off the line well with decent rubber/track prep to hit 1.9-2.0 and beable to hit those deeper high 13's. it can be done at less mph thats for sure
tons of cars here on this site i seen doing 13.2 at 102 with slicks but that car would be hard pressed to get 13.8's probly on street tires. but its possible it would do deeper 13's with good driving and good tracks

Why would FWD cars be faster? RWD cars can get off the line quicker, so shouldn't that equate to lower ET's. RWD cars tend to have more drivetrain loss, but i'd think getting off the line quicker would make up for this. I mean I've beaten an SRT-4 just because he spun at the line like crazy, and I had an awesome launch. That was on one of my 14.4 runs. 188whp vs around 210whp(i'm guessing stock), so I think getting off the line quickly can make up for drivetrain loss(or lower power in my case).

well, rwd cars usually run quicker ET's at lower trap speeds than fwd cars of similar ETs
fwd car might pull off a 10.80 at 135....but a proper rwd car like my buddies would do 10.80s at 126mph
cuz he gets off the line faster and thus lower 60 foot and lower ETS without needing as much power, so hence the lower trap speed.

so from a roll, the fwd would probably win if they both have the same ET and the fwd has a higher trap speed right?
