Has anyone ever used a head that has been drilled to half inch holes for over sized head studs, but used a stock block that is not drilled for over sized holes. Would the head bolt up ok with enough surface area around the washer and nut? Do you think there ever could be any issues?

 

i am pretty sure that won't work, but i can't say from any experience,

 

1/2 equals 13mm. The stock headstuds are 12mm. I dont think that the 1mm difference will cause a problem.

is it a turbo motor? As long as you still have it on the dowels then it should be ok but what do I know.

 

its for an all motor setup not to crazy mostly street car no more then 12:1

 

depends on how the dowels were drilled in the head
