i'm curious as well...... I dont know if it would make a difference on a daily street driven vehicle, but I plan on going to the track tomorrow night. I got skunk2's, tokico 5 way adj, and I need to know if stiffening up my shocks or softening would actually do anything for my launch, time, etc. I'm a newbie to this
I have played around with this a little and I haven't really figured out what exactly works the best. My buddy had a 11 sec all-motor neon and when I would help him with at the track when we set the car up, I would take the Koni adj struts (factory on the ACRs) and adjust the front all the way stiff and the rear all the way or close to all the way soft.
I just recently when to the track and ran this set-up and it worked pretty good, I was still have major traction problems so when I get that sorted out I'll see how much better it can do.
I added to what he advise and had the weight of the car sitting more toward the front wheels since i have adj springs too (skunk2 teg rates).

92 civic hatch with h22a swap suspension in rear is kyb shocks and springs from a dirt track car 750 pounds spring rate. No flex at all and 60 foot show 1.883. The times i've gotten so far 13.82 at 96 mph at 5200 feet above sea level. Also rear skinnies set at 40 psi.
