Default suspension inserts

First off, I tried searching.. but the archive search currently seems to be diabled.

I'm hitting the track on opening day this Sunday morning... I've got a turbo b18c hatch ~ 325 WHP.

I'm thinking about trying some of those inserts for the rear suspension to help out the 60' times. I've seen a couple of different options, and I'd like some opinions.

The first ones I've seen are kind-of like an additional bump-stop. You can jack up the car and slip them over the shock.

The next style I've seen allow you to stick them inbetween the coils of the springs.

Anyone have any luck with either of these? I've got progrssive lowering sprigns on with stock shocks currently. I will be racing on some nitto 555's.

I'm going in a couple days... and they are like $5.... I was just looking for a little edge that might help out this weekend.

I never tried that approach but it seems to e it wold make the car a little harsh on the top end of the track when you dont need them. Maybe. what are your trap speeds? it might not be enough to cause a problem.
