I had a similar issue at my shop, and although i have business insurance, since the car was outside of my shop at the time it was broken into, his car insurance covered it. May want to see if the owners insurance will cover it if he had it insured that is. Ps Selective Insurance Co. gave me a really good policy for a very fair price. Give them a shout so you dont get jammed up in the future>>>>

The downside to having Hondata kill it is then they just throw it away and you are still out $500. Although, there is always that small chance you come across them on the Internet asking how to get it working.

I don't blame you there. You aren't incredibly far from me, I'll keep an eye out for any S300's in the for sale stuff here.

My thoughts exactly. Kill it.

Buy some cameras for the shop. They are cheap these days.

cameras only help so much, well at least that ones that were at my old shop. they kinda sucked at night time as far as making out faces, and definitely could not see a license plate on a car driven through the lot

Poor quality cameras will give poor quality feedback.

Why dont you post up the serial #

...and I dont believe that Hondata can or will "kill it" but they can flag it if it ever comes in for repair.

Make sure you file a police report, or nothing will be done.
