Near Accident at California Speedway today!!!
My buddy and I were out filming runs at California Speedway today, and a SN95 Cobra with 600+ RWHP lost it at about the 1000ft mark, almost hit the Fox Body Stang next to him and then recovered :uh oh: Here is the video for anyone that wants to see the almost carnage. Watching it in real time I thought for sure he was going to tag the other car or the wall .

If you get out of the groove at fontana, the track gets very loose very quickly.
Stay in the middle and you are fine, but if for any reason you go to the side, Lift, Lift, Lift!!!!

Yeah, it might have been the nitrous, he was running a small shot I believe. I still can't believe he managed to not hit anything. There were some fast civics out again yesterday on a lighter note. We'll get those videos up pretty quick. Are any of you guys going next week?

wow, thats what happens when you get out of the groove. i almost crossed the centerline in vegas a few years back cuz i got out of the groove, pretty scarry from a drivers standpoint...
that was a good save or lucky driving, either way good to see there was no carnage...
