Good job on the project..a few qs...what mm is you head gasket..a lot of sr20 builders are having problems with that.. whats your hp & tq goal..ohh and 180 sx if its a silvia..but thats just a name..powers were its at and looks like your not gonna have probs with that except traction. Any updates..

Traction problems will be solved as the car goes along and the head gasket problems people are having is because allot people use the wrong type of head studs on this motors and they wrong type of head gaskets on the motor.

ARP head studs for this motor are the wrong type of head stud to use only because they lock on the actual thread it self in witch and do come loss and as far as the head gasket problem is that most people go with the greddy head gasket . The greddy gasket is bigger then the stock bore by allot.

The greddy head stud is the best disgin for the SR20det motor and they lock on the block it self and it is way beffier the nthe ARP . Price is allot more to ARP $129

Thanks for the info..Isnt stock head gasket size 1.1mm most use 1.2 1.5 ..Secret service in florida i think they say stay with the stock size. Good info on the Headstuds..Im also going to be helping my friend with his high hp sr20.
