i have a gsr with jdm b16 pistons in my ek hatch. and i welded my mounts all solid with 1/8 steel plate. for the drivers side space ship looking mount i just found random metal stock laying around which fit in between the metal gap and welded it solid as well. this is my DD car and to be honest you stop noticing the vibrations...

I saw a T-belt mount rip off the block when the motor was extremely off axis(beyond 5-10degrees) by way of a chain keeping it in place. I am not saying any names. This was the most rigged up mounts I have ever seen.
