I'm a believer of solid mounts. As specialy the two lower ones, IMO you don't want the bottom of the block moving during shifting.

You can fab your own lower mounts out of 1/4" steel plate. I had a L bracket made for the tranny mount to the traction bar mount. Then had a straight 1/4 plate on the drivers side.

I have been running solid motor mounts in my car for year. I use to daily drive the car. There is no problem with them. I made solids for my all motor daily driver and been driving it for 3 years. It is not as bad as you think

a car with that much power should have solid mounts for sure.

some cars are worse than others when using solid mounts for a daily driven set up.

on my old DD integra i had a solid rear mount and the other mounts were stock, worked good. i had solid upper mounts in it for about 30 min. then i took them out as it made the car horrible to drive.

I have solid mounts in my 1G Talon AWD.The front and rear motor mounts are solid steel and the side and trans mount are poly.I used to have 3 solid mounts in it.It rattled your teeth loose. The side mounts are not as important as the front and back.I've even seen guys just use one solid mount.

Just send them back to Hasport. If you don't like them then you can always put the soft inserts back in. Hasport send you back the soft inserts when they mod them to the billet inserts.

pros- no engine movement solid shifts , less axle breakage

cons- hard to deal with the vibrations for a daily, possible ripping out of chassis/ loosening /tightening bolts all the time. risk damaging block on a DD application

recommendation- some hard inserts such as 95A urethane innovative mounts or hasports 85A urethane

I'd recommend solid mounts to any car making that much power. I refuse to send people anything other then solid mounts! Especially with that kind of power. Honestly... You'll have more of a solid driveline as well as no engine movement. With turbo set ups today on these crazy high HP cars. The last thing you need is something moving on you. If you already have the Hasport mounts I'd recommend sending them in ...

I left the rubber inset in the mount and just welded a metal plate on each side and welded the inside of the mount bracket for added strength.I also drilled a hole through the mount bracket, and inner mount seen in the pictures.I than put a Grade 8 bolt through it all so there is absolutely no movement at all.

Street cars don't need solid mounts. In most cases a fresh set of OEM mounts are all that is needed.Maybe front and rear poly inserts but a full set of solid mounts in a street car is not going to be fun to drive everyday nor is it really called for.
