Default SOHC that could

Redynoed the car made 408whp/291tq @26-27 psi on stock sleeves
car is a 92 cx setup is vitara/eagles and a 60trim turbo..


car went a 10.97@128 and a 10.99@130.. has alot more in it but ran out of tuning time.

im guessing 22-23 its fully gutted going to turn the boost up possibly this week and shoot for some mid 10's

very nice, ive been owrking with a guy who has a sohc, that i built for him, same internals.

he has an sc34 on his car, we made 308@about 15psi, waiting on a couple more things and some c16 and we will turn it up and see what we get

What size slicks are you on?!?! You SHOULD be on 24.5s honestly. I think that's what he's bumping up to if I remember correctly.

ANYBODY with 400hp should be on 24.5's i know this from experience lol, my 23's were way to small for that power.

22" i wanted the tire height to be the same as what i run on the street. gearing is bad enough on d-series. but will go with a 23 once these are trashed. better than no slick at all. mainly a street car. i dont goto the track often as they arent close by, so i dont have much experience. but will be at import face off in kansas city sept. 2nd.

With your power and 23" slicks, You will remain in the 11's. Go with the 24.5x13x8.5 and crack that 10 mark like the rest of us!

i was just worried about the d-series gearing with that tall.

what gearing/final drive you run?

but youre right, ill tear these 22's up on the 2nd and go for some 24.5
