Default Slicks....

Is there any advantage to running "tubeless" slicks vs. regular tube slicks? Again talking to my girlfriends father(Ford guy), he's always had problems with tube slicks losing air after a couple of runs, something to do with the fiction between the tube and the slick. Could someone else explain the difference and pros/cons? thanks

I'm looking at getting the MTT-3013(ET), 24.5x8x14, Y1 lsd tranny, lsvtec turbo, rev to 8500rpm.

I have always run tubes in my slicks. I have not had a problem with them loosing air after a few runs. If I let them sit for months a time they will loose some air but nothing major. The only thing I have heard about with running tubes is that it make your tire/wheel a little more heavy so you have more rotational mass.
