Hi, 1 of the drag cars we run over here is running mickey thompson et street, with a 1.960ft and a 11.6 @ 127. that was on the first outing before oil pressure problems.


so best of 11.6 @ 127 1.960ft.

were looking at running slicks, 13x8 rim. but unsure on slick size, estimating around 475whp

is there a rule what size slick we should go for?

 

MT 24.5 x 9 x 13 will work for you

just check your gear ratio's too to make sure the powerband will be good with your ratio's and slick size

 

sorry not trying to threadjack because he already kind of answered you haha. but I was wondering the same thing for my car. im only putting down little over 300whp in a civic with gsr tranny and LSD. what size slicks and rims should i go with.

 

Cheers fo that, MT 24.5 x 9 x 13 is actually the slick we have been looking at.
the engine and gearbox, for the car in question is not honda, i can get the specs of the gear ratio's and final drives ect??
but we allso run a d16 at about 400whp, would a 24.5 x 9 x 13 be suitable or a little big?
