Default Slick size

I know that this question gets beat into the ground, but Im getting new slicks this year and want to know what would be best for my setup. Right now Im using 20x8x14 M/T and have run a best of 13.52@100. I was thinking of going with 22x8x13's or 23x7.5x15's. My set up right now consists of a 90 Civic Si hatch, with a ZC motor, Webcams regrinds, running a ZEX nitrous kit with a 65 shot, and I have a 90 Si tranny with a Quaife diff. Sorry I dont know the gear ratios off of the top of my head. Any opinons or any recomendations from people with a similar set up.

Thanks
Gary

Hi Gorm, M&H 8/22-13 or the M&H 7.5/23-15 you can go ether way, but their is not much in a selection size in the 15". So if was me I would invest your $ on a 13" wheel size, their is more of a variet of sizes and when you move up on HP their will be a size slick you need

Thanks for listens

good advise..... but I have ran a 12.5 on the 20/8/14's before..... so if money's tight then I wouldn't buy them right away. But in the long run and more power then for sure get the 13's. HTH Rob

for now, the 20x8x14 are well suited for you.

Drop another 1/2 second and you'll be ready to step up to 22x8x13's.

My times below are on 20x8x14's at 12 psi, 7800 rpm launch.
