slick size

Default slick size question

I currently am running a sohc vtec with 348hp and 318tq at 24.6 psi. I got a set of m/t 24.5x7x13 mounted on 13" steelies. how do you folks think the slicks would be on some bogart 13x9? thanks for the imput.

you shouldnt mount a 7" wide slick on a 9" wide rim. Slicks have a specified range of rim widths that they can be mounted on. They usually are within 1-1.5" smaller than the rim width.
If you have an 8.5" slick, it usually requires something a 7.5-8" wide rim to fit the best so you will have the best contact patch on the tire.

how about a set of lenso 13x7.5?

the 7.5" is closer to the slick width, its better than the 9" of course. are you set in using that particular slick size? you might get better traction with a wider slick.
23x8x13 or even a 24.5x8.5x13
