Hey, I am finishing up my turbo crx and was jsut curious about the trac bar kit and how much it needs to be preloaded. My question is this, when I put the kit on, I pulled the front susp assembly forward about 1/2" (about like stock when you squish down the stock rubber radius rod nuts) and there is no front to back play, however, the rods themselves rotate VERY easily via hind joint pivot. How much in tension do I want the bars? Right now, the kit seems like it might break due to excess rotational play. Thanks in advance.

 

the hiem joints are supposed to pivit freely, take your car to a good alignment shop and have them set the caster

 

cool, i just realized i spelled hiem...as hind....but anyway, thats all I wanted to check, yeah, it def needs to be alligned. Thanks

 

how about for the tension. How far to you pull the susp assembly forward to preload the rod. snug, 1/2", full inch or what, just curious.
