Shunk2 single bend. You'll be glad you got it once you've tried some other brands.

TWM Performance Dual bend. They offer 3 different models from a dual bend to super aggressive and super short shifters

I had the Skunk2 dual bend in my car for a couple years and changed it out for the TWM Performance unit. WAYYYY better. The Skunk2 wasn't horrible but there was a noticeable difference in shift smoothness from the Skunk2 to the TWM one. The bearings are of much higher quality in the TWM Performance shifter which is probably why it feels so much smoother shifting.

Also TWM Performance is releasing some sick shift extenders. I'm on their Facebook group fan page and they posted a picture of their 4 inch shift extender. Looks awesome.

Anyways here's a link for the TWM short shifter

Haha that magnum 44 POS came in my new daily, I took it off that night for my skunk2 ****.

I like the skunk2 single bend, it's got a really short throw, isn't too low, shift boot fits better with it than a dual bend, and 5th gear is never mixed up for 3rd.

I've found the B&M and whatever is currently in my daily to have that odd 5th gear reach sometimes.

the ebay shifters are garbage.i'd run a stock one b4 another Ebay. I have learned my lesson. I have broken 2 within months of having it. One broke in 2nd gear and broke so deep down that i had to drive home doing 15 mph in 2nd.

I like the Skunk2 shifters, i have a B&M now.

lol, what? cut and weld an extension into the lower part of the shifter? haha that would last about 1 pass.

I thought about getting a short shifter to reduce my dog box throw. Am i a dummy for thinking this because in the past i was all against short shifters.

No idea why your saying TWM is overpriced, because Skunk2 is selling their short shifter for $9 less than the TWM one. If you're complaining about a $9 difference for a better quality product, you should stop modifying your car now. Then again, 88-00 Honda guys and 90-01 Acura guys are some of the cheapest people I've come to know lol. 99% are not willing to pay for quality. Skunk2 is ok, but TWM Performance is where it's at if you want the best....that's the bottom line.

As for their shift *****, that's another debate in itself. The TWM Performance Type R shift **** is heavier than the Skunk2, and the finish on my brothers skunk2 shift **** wore off after 1.5 years. I've had my TWM Performance shift **** for over 4 years and it looks like the day it showed up at my door. Again, if your not willing to pay the difference for quality, it's not my problem

Does Skunk2 give you a discount to back up their products so blindly?

I like products that last...not temporary fixes; that's all

His pricing comment was about the shift ***** exclusively.

It's a shift ****, finish wearing off or not it's still just a shift ****. I've never had a skunk2 **** wear on me anyways. 100 bucks vs. 30 is a huge difference. You have to admit that.

The shifter does look nice though. Does the single bend act like a Skunk2? I don't want something that sits low like the pics show in the new civic.
