Default SFWD Fuel (OGS)

whats the deal with fuel options. The rules seem to be excessively strict.

"The fuels must not be modified in any way. You must use them the way they came from the fuel manufacturer. You will be disqualified from the race if you are caught using a fuel that is not approved or it is illegally altered in any way. We will be using a Digatron fuel tester to measure the dielectric levels of the fuel samples."

I don't run E85, I run like E80 so its not available from Vendors. I take some sunoco and break down E98 until its suitable. So this is illegal?

This is based on different issues that occurred last year. The rules are just being enforced more stringently. I would suggest you call or email Roger with the questions you may have about your fuel. You don't want to show up and not be able to race because of DQ

I'll take your 5 bucks, my car won't make more than 2 passes on leprechaun jizz, Charlie from Sheepeybuilt can't make enough of it.

Do you have a good source of leprechauns?

The easiest way to fix all this fuel crap is go with VP gasoline based fuels and M1 only. This is what all the NMCA and most of the outlaw radial races are doing to prevent this same situation I do not know why they wont allow Methanol SFWD it would save engines and the stuff is easy to check and make sure everyone is on the same level with fuel.

The ftw meth would not pass a water test as its not pure methanol like m1. Methanol is very easy to regulate and make sure people are not cheating the system with additives

1300hp with methanol in a class that doesnt allow mechanical fuel pumps (right?) would be interesting. 3 injectors per cyl?
