I cna belive that your delSlow is as fast as your Rx7 which have 110 WHP extra, I know that your delSlow is lighter but it does not compemsate de difference and the RX7 is RWD

The delsol runs a 12.0 with 22" slick. RX-7 runs mid 11s with drag radial, however the FD feel a lot faster

Is this the del slow that wanted to race the green hatch. If so you almost there to deserve a race against me all you need to do now is get some street kills. Sunday runs breaking of chumps is not good enough. Plus the owner of this car cant really say **** about it so im hoping your not the one posting about it. The reason for that is he cant drive it everyone else does while he watch its like sponshoring someone else to race a car. The way we do it is the owner drives his car or the car don't get to challenge anyone for a race. You got work to do 1.9 60 11.7 123 miles an hour bottle going off in 4th one legged horse at the time. New motor 150 shot to come pos trac with traction bars look out now. Come take my second fastest street driver if you can with less power.

Here is the skinny! A lot of guys out here in San Diego area wanna name for themselves. So they build cars to try and race the well known guys that are part of the faster race crews. All the talk in our town for a little while was that some Delslow has been going around saying he wanna race the green hatchback that always win at all the tracks here in Diego. Im not hating its good someone is getting the car down in times I congratulate that. I really don't think he gets the credit for that though cause he cant drive the car someone else drove that time so from me the credit goes to the driver. 330 is a little bit big for what ive seen in the car. The mile and hour is still a little shy of a 330 whp car if you really look at it. I have about 40 less than he does with a worse 60ft and still went 122 miles an hour with a better time. People say the civic is lighter but its really not that much difference I have roll cage and and im about 100 lbs heavier than the driver of the delslow. I think somone should do a Dyno day at the 3 local shops and dyno the same cars and se how fat some of the dynoes are meaning they lie about there numbers.

If i want name for myself, why do i build a delsol? why not something lighter like a crx or a civic hatch? Beside i don't need to build a fast honda to made myself know, i have couple cars that is much faster then my delslow.

If you always win around San deigo track, what is the worry who's going to drive the car? beside if you runs mid 11s, you will still be faster anyway. The best delsol ran were 12.0 I'm not sure why you should worry about us anyway.

[QUOTE=2civichatchbs]

How do you figure that? The delsol weight $2450 without driver. ran a 12.0 at 115mph with 1.86 sixty, that pretty damn good power. if you want to see the dyno chart, you can contact XS-engineering or you can come by my office anytime. I'm here try to argue how fast and how much power my car made, i have a shop to run and no time for shiet like that. Like i said, this is my first honda, i have a lot to learn. I can't drive as well with the FF as I can with the FR, if you want to race me driving my delslow, we can do it at carlsbad anytime you wish, All i need is some more track time

One thing about San Diego, is word travels fast. If one of Loi's friends or clients is talking trash, or challenging people, automatically people assume Loi is the one trying to instigate races. It's just not the case. Loi is completely down to the earth, doesn't spread gossip, or talk trash. He's an enthusiast, likes going fast, period.
I know Loi personally, and he did not build this car to try and be the fastest in San Diego, or anywhere else for that matter. Going into this, he already knew, with the Del Sol platform, the car was going to have some serious weight to it. His goal was to put his first Honda together, with the ability to run 11's in full street trim (except slicks of course). Obviously, after driving FR machines, like his 9.80 Mustang, and 11sec RX7, FF cars are going to be hard to jump into, let's face it, our cars suck off the line compared to FR cars. He just needs some practice.

Its all good that hes a cool guy but the company you keep can sometimes get you a bad rep. I have a bad Rep not cause of the company I keep cause they say im arrogant and all this nonsense but when people talk to me in person they see I try and help others be fast show them where there off track and yet I still here the talk of me being a bad person cause im confident in racing that im going to win regardless. Yes it only takes a small conversation to get things started here in Diego Its all good though I just wish that men would be men kill the rumors most everyone have hte way to contact each other don't talk about racing me be about it. Im always down to put some cash up for a good run not a easy run which I see only one car in Sd thats going to be a factor against me for that. Such though we are buddies and will help each other work on cars if some goes wrong shouldn't all of us be that way?
