Sav Leone
Just curious as to what you guys think of him as a racer. And the "IMPO" car- its not on methanol yet is it? I wonder if he's gonna do the switch over for the new season. As for the racers who read this- do you fear him? Just curious...

He just got back from the CA idrc awards. I think he brought home like $30,000 or something around there for finishing first in the quick class. His car is still out west and is gonna stay out there till april (i think)

Sav leone showed that you dont have to be the fastest to win 1st place. just consistent. I'm not sure if he ever went 8's but when I saw him at the idrc event he was laying down consistent low 9's.

Saverio is an awesome guy. Yes, he took first place in the IDRC season series, and His car is currently tucked away at Golden Eagle right now( i think)..he never hit 8's, But he was very consistent, running high to mid 9's at will. And he was very mobile, meaning that he traveled to every race and didnt miss a smote. Him and His Crew get a thumbs up..You can also PM one of his crew members on this board, his Sn is Jerseykid609, they are pretty close if anyone has any questions...

sav is truly a cool guy. i think he bought me a beer at the xmas party in nyc last year (instant coolness!! 
). he really showed his commitment to this sport by coming out early last season and running damn near every race. and it payed off in the end with a nice amount of coin. much respect and many

I just want to say thanks for all the nice comments from all I heard good stuff about honda tech so I just recently started checking it out, so far I am very impressed everyone seems to be pretty cool peoples. So I signed up. Hopefully I will have time to post frequently. Didn't hit 8's YET but soon!! just made the switch to meth, cool stuff makes power!! My best on gas was 9.28@157 on 26x10 goodyears, with the meth and 28's the numbers will come. Thanks again for the nice comments.

couldnt agree more - Sav's a cool cat who is dedicated to racing and not afraid to take the long trips even though the cash flow isnt there all the time. Proof that consistency wins races (and championships!)in the long run. His family is really nice too.
