I heard from a very strong source that the Titan Civic is no longer with Titan. I heard that it is resting at a new shop in the Orlando area. Is their any truth to this??

The car will still be campaigned with Titan for the remainder '04. Seeing as John and myself are Titan employee's, and are not going to give up the season.

 

i heard it was sitting in a drive way in Orlando...

James, the owner of the Civic is no longer with Titan. They will most likely finish out the season with the car since John drives the car and is employed by Titan, as is Darin who tunes the car also still works at Titan. Next season who knows what will happen, I would guess that with 2 Pro cars in the mix this won't make much of a difference.

The car use to belong to me and I am friend's with the owner

 

this is james innes, formerly of titan motorsports - my personal screen name that i have had for years

it is true - i am no longer with titan motorsports - too many offers on the table and I finally found one that fit what i was looking for.

the car will still be raced for the remainder of the season under the Titan Motorsports name due to the great resources they have offered me for the past 3 years - it was a great job to be at but personally i was ready for a new challenge in my career, i have nothing but great things to say about all the guys at titan and the business as a whole, i am sure i will still work with them in the future as my new endeavor allows

the car is also tentatively planned on being raced the full season next year on the NDRA circuit, we have some plans for the car in the off season and it should make it extremely competitive in the 2005 season, ideally john and darin of titan motorsports will still be the respective driver and tuner of the car.

i am sure i will still be making my presence known here on honda-tech - it has treated me too good over the past couple of years and I love giving back to the community - i will still continue to do the independent dyno tests that i have been known for at titan motorsports and help any way i can for the honda / acura community.

personally not a big fan of donuts in general - but if krispey kreme was knocking on my door offering money to put their name on my car you better believe that you would see me eating them at the track on sat and sunday morning - i might even organize an all you can eat contest for them

i am surprised it took this long for it to get on honda-tech i guess some people had the respect for james to let james say what happend, and not Orlando.
