Default roll cages

For going under 11.99 you have to have a 5 point but does it have to be welded. What about for a 6 point. DO they have to be welded to be legal?

Its 4pt for 11.99 and under. and 5pt for 10.99 and under.. any bolt on cages must have 5x5 plates welded underrneath the bolt plates, then i THINK it is legal.. might wanan inquire tho...

also dont forget its 10.99@135mph. which most hondas going 10's are over 135mph. then you need a certified 10pt cage.

Disregard the garbage inside the race car.

no welding required... the rulebook says as long as you have 2 plates and 4 bolts for each point you are fine. welding the plates sucks anyway. i personally feel that 2 sets of plates and 4 grade 8 bolts are way stronger then welding 16 gauge plates to paper thin sheetmetal. if there was a roll, i think the bolt in system would hold better then welding. two plates arent going to rip through your floor, a welded plate could easily tear....

yes a 5 point roll bar. that means a main loop (2 points) 2 bars going back to the frame (2 points) and a bar on the drivers side that goes down the side by the arm (1 point, can be bolted in place)
and the bars have to be welded together, but the mounting plates can be bolted in using 6x6 plates on each side.
